There’s only ONE case and it never changes. The game ends pretty much before it even begins. The way you solve “mysteries” is just a matching game. Things that are supposed to go on walls are either not on a wall, floating in the air, or they’re miles behind a real wall, where I would need to get into my neighbor’s apartment on the other side of my apartment walls to get to the stuff. Everything that’s supposed to be on a floor looks like it’s several floors below me. I tried playing in my living room and it’s crap at detecting walls, or even the floor. You need an absolute perfectly and brightly lit room with no furniture in it.
It makes you think a little bit and your first instinct might be wrong. I enjoyed the evidence and testimony from the suspects, nothing screamed out, "oh yeah, this person is obviously the criminal". I can get my older kids involved because it isn't graphic! Super fun and with the 6minute game time, it doesn't take up a lot of your day. It isn't overly simple and not too difficult, which was perfect! I liked that there isn't an option for hints, because in the real world of solving crime there are no hints. My boyfriend just saw me running around the room trying to beat the ticking clock.
Although at the time of writing this review, an update was made two days ago, so that's good! But I love the idea so much, I will pay for it. I'm keeping it in case more content is added soon. No one will want to keep this app on their phone and play the same game over and over. I understand that it takes time to develop content but because the app has been out for a bit, people will be expecting more. I gave three stars because of only one crime to solve.
I'm in love with the concept and I love that there are NO ADS!!! I would gladly pay to have more than one crime to solve.
